The hose has an elongated hollow body (10) for carrying liquid away from the machine, a connection section (12) for connecting the hollow body to the machine and an outlet end (8) for disposing of the liquid. The elongated body has a branch section (14,16) to enable venting of the outlet hose or to prevent a vacuum from forming in the outlet hose. A branch line section connected to the branch section is formed in one piece with a valve region.
