Atomiser has a pressure atomiser and a compressed gas operated ultra sonic generator, in which the latter has an annular nozzle of variable cross section mounted perpendicularly to the atomiser axis and lies opposite to and at a fixed distance from an annular resonance chamber connected to an annular gap, the outlet opening of which, looked at in the flow direction, lies above the pressure atomiser orifice, the annular gap having a slope which is approximately perpendicular to the liquid film leaving the atomiser. The cross section of the annular nozzle is adjusted by means of exchangeable distance rings, and the atomiser is surrounded by a concentric tube for the feed of gases to be mixed with the atomised liquid. |
