PURPOSE: A method an apparatus for securing a digital document and an apparatus using the same are provided to prevent the exposure of the digital document by encoding, compressing, patterning, and aligning the digital document. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for securing a digital document includes an encoding unit(110), a compression unit(120), an error correction portion(130), and an aligning portion(140). The encoding portion(110) encodes a digital document(100) by using a predetermined encoding method. The compression unit(120) compresses the encoded digital document by using a predetermined compressing method. The error correction unit(130) corrects errors of the compressed digital document by using a predetermined error correction method. The aligning unit(140) aligns the error-corrected digital document to convert the error-corrected digital document to an image.
