HIGH DENSITY READ-ONLY OPTICAL DISK, AND METHOD FOR ENCODED READING AND WRITING OF THE HIGH DENSITY OPTICAL DISK

PURPOSE: A high density read-only optical disk, and a method for encoded reading and writing of the high density optical disk are provided to prevent illegal copy of data recorded on a high density read-only optical disk by encoding audio and video data with radius information and an address unit number, and recording data frames in an inverse direction different from a rewritable optical disk. CONSTITUTION: An encoding system(300) encodes audio and video data by using disk radius information or an address unit number recorded at a physical cluster area of a BD-ROM(Blu-ray Disk Read Only Memory). The encoding system records the encoded audio and video data at the physical cluster area. Data frames are recorded on a spiral track in a direction from an outer periphery to an inner periphery in an inverse direction recording order opposed to a recording order of a BD-RW(Blu-ray Disk Rewritable).
