摘要 Production of poly-1-olefin includes polymerizing 1-olefin at 20-200degreesC and 0.5-50 bars in the presence of a catalyst comprising reaction product of transition-metal compound with gelatinous dispersion of magnesium alkoxide in inert hydrocarbon. The gelatinous dispersion is obtained by vigorous stirring or shearing a suspension of magnesium alkoxide powder having a mean particle size of 50-1000 mum in inert hydrocarbon. Production of poly-1-olefin includes polymerizing 1-olefin of formula R4CH=CH2 in suspension, solution, or gas phase at 20-200degreesC and 0.5-50 bars in the presence of a catalyst comprising (A) the reaction product of magnesium alkoxide with transition-metal compound, and (B) organometallic compound. Catalyst component A is produced by reacting transition-metal compound of titanium, zirconium, vanadium, or chromium with a gelatinous dispersion of magnesium alkoxide in an inert hydrocarbon. The gelatinous dispersion of magnesium alkoxide is obtained by vigorous stirring (using a stirring element) or shearing (using a high-performance shearing tool) a suspension of magnesium alkoxide powder having a mean particle size (expressed as the d50 value) of 50-1000 mum in inert hydrocarbon in which the magnesium alkoxide particles are insoluble. The suspension of magnesium alkoxide has been subjected to heat-treatment at 40-150degreesC (preferably 60-120degreesC) for 10-100 hours before conversion into the dispersion. R4 = H or 1-10C alkyl
