The apparatus to deliver a powder reagent (2) into a reactor (7), under a controlled atmosphere, gives a controlled delivery over a timed duration to give a tracing. The apparatus has two identical continuous screws (1) which operate simultaneously, powered by a motor (4). The first screw passes the solid reagent into the reactor, and the second screw deposits the reagent on to a balance (6), to register the reagent volume delivery as a function of time.
