Thin flat lamp module for shelf illumination

A thin flat lamp module using Light Emitting Diodes (LED) or other miniature light sources with low heat dissipation in combination with a light guide including an optical lens and a curved mirror to emit light perpendicular to the module or in any angle or range of angles between approx. 40 and 140 degrees. Useful application is for illumination of shelves and other confined spaces. The module may be mounted underneath a shelf near the front of that shelf thus illuminating the shelf below and any objects on it. Modules may be interconnected to build a uniform lamp of some length with one common power supply.
