A demountable bed frame is made from light alloy/aluminium profiled struts (14) for the side sections and has cross members (18) of tubular material with clamping ends (40, 42) to secure to the side frames. The clamping ends are designed to clip onto the side frames when released. At least one side frame and one cross member are made of profiled struts. The mattress support laths (20) comprise flat metal strips with clamping ends to secure onto the side frames. |
