The roof module (10) for a vehicle, to be fitted from above into an opening (40) of the vehicle bodywork, comprises an outer shell (12) and an interior roof structure consisting of a central section (20) firmly attached to the outer shell, two end sections (22, 24) which are pivotable downwards about the central section for entry of the module into the bodywork opening.
