PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inject a contrast medium of different concentration during use of a rectal catheter, by providing inside a preliminary passage which is not an air injection passage to connect respective passages with external tubes, in a rectal catheter provided with a contrast medium-injection passage and an internal substance discharge passage inside. SOLUTION: When a first contrast medium is injected into rectum, a first contrast medium container 15 side is communicated to a first external tube 13 side by a switching valve 20, and then a force feed pump 16 is operated to feed a contrast medium having normal concentration from the contract medium container 15 to the first external tube side so that the contract medium is sucked. Thereafter, the contrast medium is injected into the rectum from a tip opening 1 through a contract medium injection passage of a rectal catheter B. When a second contrast medium of different concentration is injected into the rectum, the first switching valve 20 is closed and a second switching valve 21 is opened to operate a second pressure feed pump 18, and the second contrast medium is fed from a second contrast medium container 17 to a second external tube 14. Thereafter, the contrast medium is injected into rectum D from the tip opening 1 through a preliminary passage of the catheter B. |
