PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source unit of an electric vehicle which is capable of omitting a filter reactor for DC and coping with an AC power source and a DC power source by commonly using a charging circuit. SOLUTION: When a supply voltage from stringing 1 is DC, a contactor 22 is opened and a contactor 23 is closed. Power is supplied through a route of the stringing 1 → a pantograph 2 → a high speed breaker 3 → a contact (b) of a change-over switch 4 → a contactor 5 → a contactor 13 → a transformer 14 → an element QVC. When a supply voltage from the stringing 1 is AC, the contactor 22 is closed, and the contactor 23 is opened. power is supplied through a route of the stringing 1 → the pantograph 2 → the high speed breaker 3 → a contact (a) of the change-over switch 4 → the transformer 14. A single phase AC power is supplied to a converter 19 from secondary of the transformer 14, via the contactor 13. |
