摘要 FIELD: machine engineering, namely apparatuses for controlling welding machine, possibly machines for welding ends of coiled metallic strips in metallurgical aggregates for applying coating, in straightening lines and other systems. SUBSTANCE: control apparatus includes clamp with drive, source of welding current and pickup for detecting edge of strip, first setter for starting group of operations, second setter of assortment and of set values, computing unit, counter, unit for controlling mechanisms of welding machine having separate inlets for receiving signals for switching to lowered rate and for arresting drive of clamp during direct and reverse cycles of clamp operation. Inlet of clamp drive is connected with outlet of control unit; its output is mechanically joined with clamp. Welding power source has inlet for ON - OFF signals of welding power source and outlet for forming electric current value of welding power source. Outlet of pickup for detecting strip edge is connected with respective inlet of control unit. Clamp is mechanically joined with pickup for detecting clamp motion whose outlet signal is fed to respective inlet of control unit. Outlets of first setter of starting group of operations are connected with respective inlets of control unit and of second setter of assortment and set values. Outlet of second setter is connected with inlet of control unit. Outlet of counter is connected with respective inlet of computing unit; inlet of counter is connected with outlet of pickup for detecting clamp motion. Other inlets of counter are connected with respective outlets of first setter. Inlets of computing unit are connected with outlets of first setter. Outlet of second setter is connected with one inlet of computing unit whose outlets are connected with control unit inlets for receiving signals for switching to lowered rate and for arresting clamp drive at direct and reverse cycles of clamp operation. Inlet of electric current pickup is connected with outlet of welding power source forming electric current value of source. Outlet of electric current pickup is connected with one inlet of second computing unit whose other inlets are connected with outlets of second counter, third counter, third setter of set values and strip edge pickup. Outlet of second computing unit is connected with welding power source inlet for receiving ON and OFF signals. Inlets of second counter and inlets of third counter are connected with outlet of clamp motion pickup. Other inlets of second and third counters are connected with strip edge pickup. Outlet of third setter is connected with inlets of third counter and with electric current pickup. EFFECT: possibility for adaptive adjusting of ON and OFF time moments of welding power source independently upon changing outer conditions and for forming initial welding electric current in desired range. 2 dwg
