FIELD: foundry, possibly casting with use of investment patterns. SUBSTANCE: gating system includes pouring funnel, riser, feeders and sump in the form of tore half. At casting metal into gating system stream is split in sump during starting period of filling shell mold. It reduces hydrodynamic shock and occurring of cracking and shearing in shell mold. EFFECT: enhanced physical and mechanical properties of molds, improved quality of castings. 3 dwg |
