<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a leg-power regardless of the dimensional accuracy and assembling accuracy of members. SOLUTION: This detecting device is so formed that a transfer plate 40 is rotated via a one-way clutch by operation of a pedal, with this rotation transmitted to a drive sprocket 80 via a spring 56. The misalignment between the transfer plate 40 and the sprocket 80 which matches load on a rear wheel is converted into the misalignment between a first guide and a second guide through a projection 48 and a leg-power transfer plate 5. Depending on the size of the misalignment, the first guide and the second guide change a passage through which magnetic flux produced by a coil passes. Thus, magnetic circuit resistance which matches the leg-power can be detected as the inductance of the coil.</p> |
