<p>The procedure involves inserting an implant (30) comprising a tubular body with the aid of a flexible sleeve (52). The tube is implanted in a compressed state, held by a filament in a series of loops which are released after withdrawing the sleeve by pulling on the filament end situated outside the patient's body. The implanted tube is made, for example, from polyethylene terephthalate, polyester of PTFE, with a wall thickness of 0.10 mm and 0.8 mm. It can be between 6 and 16 cm long by 5 mm to 45 mm in diameter.</p> |
