A vibratory feeder comprises an action mass 11, having a track 14 for articles thereon, supported on parallel leaf springs 18 from a base 13. A reaction mass 12 including a coil 20 is also mounted on the base 13 by .parallel leaf springs 19. The coil 20 .is secured to side plates 22 mounted on a yoke,25 by screws 28. The screws 28 are adjustable in slots 26 so that the gap between the coil 20 and an armature 21 attached to the action mass 11 can be adjusted. The gap can be observed through a porthole 30 in one of the side plates 22. |
