FIELD: construction. SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method, ends of pipe inner surface are lined with corrosion-resistant material and corrosion-resistant insert is welded to pipe. Lining of inner surface of pipe between corrosion-resistant insert and end face of pipe is provided by welding of beads of corrosion-resistant material. Inner surface of pipes, including partially the surface coated with corrosion-resistant material is coated with corrosion-resistant polymeric material, butt ends of pipes are welded over lining and then over basic metal. Cylindrical corrosion-resistant insert is made of strip material, wall thickness 0.5-2 mm, and insert is fitted in pipe with displacement from end face by 1=5-15 mm and is welded with longitudinal sea,. Invention contains recommendation on surfacing process and removal of part of welded-on metal. EFFECT: improved reliability of pipeline. 3 tbl, 1 dwg
