FIELD: tobacco industry; cigarette packing. SUBSTANCE: proposed packet with hinged cover includes box with body, cover hinge connected to body and inner skeleton. According to one design version, inner skeleton is made corrugated, with corrugations on upper rear corners bent inwards to leave them free from side walls of cover when cover is closed. According to other design version, at least one element of body and cover is made of corrugated sheet material. According to third design version, packet has no inner skeleton. Part of front and side walls is provided with depression at end of body adjoining hinge joint to provide shifted inwards surface. Invention contains description of method and device for corrugating cardboard used in packet. EFFECT: increased strength of packets and reduced consumption of material for their manufacture. 59 cl, 10 dwg
