1.207,039. Selective signalling. PRZEMYSLOWY INSTYTUT MASZYN ROLNICZYCH. 30 Dec., 1968 [28 Dec., 1967], No. 61639/68. Heading G4H. Pulses from a vehicle petrol flow meter 1 pass via a gate 7 to a counter 4 the gate 7 being held open by a bi-stable circuit 6 whilst the vehicle travels a predetermined distance, e.g. 10 miles. In operation actuation of a switch 8 zeroises the counter 4 and readies the gating arrangement 6, 7 so that the next pulse to arrive via a pulse shaper 5 from a distance measuring device 2, 2A, turns the bi-stable 6 on, thereby opening the gate 7, and the next pulse (which occurs after the predetermined distance has been traversed) turns the bi-stable off and closes the gate. Subsequent pulses from the displacement transducer are ineffective until the zeroising switch 8 has been reactuated.
|
