<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an apparatus for detecting the vertically downward position of an object situated in the upper part, by which the vertically downward position of the object situated in the upper part such as an overhead transmission line or the like can be detected on the surface of the ground by a simple operation. SOLUTION: A rail member 14 both ends of which are supported by two tripods 12 is arranged and installed nearly horizontally nearly at right angles to a railroad direction nearly in the vertically downward part of an overhead transmission line 10. A movement base 16 is installed at the rail member 14 so as to be freely moved. A shaft 20 is arranged and installed at the movement base so as to be freely rocked in all directions by a self-aligning ball bearing. An image sensor 22 is arranged and installed at the upper end of the shaft 20 in such a way that its directivity direction is directed to the vertically upper part. A plumb hob 24 is installed at the lower end. In addition, a weight 26 is suspended. By means of the gravity of the plumb hob 24, the directivity direction of the image sensor 22 is directed to the vertically upper part. An image signal which is photographed by the image sensor 22 is displayed on a monitor 28. The movement base 16 adjusted in such a way that the image of the overhead transmission line 10 is situated in the center of a screen. At this time, a point which is indicated by the weight 26 is the vertically downward position of the overhead transmission line 10.</p> |
