APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR UNIFORMLY FORMING DUST CLOUD FOR DUST EXPLOSION TEST

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method are provided to uniformly dispersing a dust cloud for a dust explosion test by stopping air supply with respect to a fluid bed of the dust cloud ascending at a low speed such that the dust cloud is temporarily stopped. CONSTITUTION: A dust cloud dispersing apparatus includes a vertical combustion pipe, a dust feeding device(100) for uniformly feeding dust from a lower portion of the vertical combustion pipe, and a control timer for controlling the formation of a dust cloud and a dust explosion test. The vertical combustion pipe has a shutter at an upper portion thereof. An ignition device is provided at a middle portion of the vertical combustion pipe. A quartz glass window is positioned at a side of the vertical combustion pipe and a sensor insertion hole is formed at a rear portion of the vertical combustion pipe. The dust feeding device(100) has a soft rubber(4), a porous metal filter(3), an air feeding pipe(1), and a moving body(5).
