PURPOSE: A cylindrical straight pole used for earthing work is provided to easily secure minimum ground resistance and rapidly discharge surge voltage to the ground. CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical straight pole includes a main body(1), a lower cover pulling line(25), a pulling ring(31), an earthing conductive line(2). The main body has the first discharge hole(35) formed at a predetermined portion of the lower part of the cylindrical straight pole. The first discharge hole includes the first outlet opening/closing member composed of an external cover and an inner cover. The cylindrical straight pole further includes a lower cover(17) and a temporary protection cover(26) for covering the lower and upper parts of the pole. The lower cover pulling line and the pulling ring pull the lower cover. The earthing conductive line is connected to the top of the main body.
