PURPOSE: A multi-layered information storing medium is provided to reproduce at least either of lead-in or lead-out areas in spite of scratches by disposing the areas of each layer at different positions in the radial direction. CONSTITUTION: A multi-layered information storing medium includes lead-in areas(1i,2i), user data areas(1u,2u), and lead-out areas(1o,2o) on first and second information storing layers(L1,L2). The lead-in areas and the lead-out areas are disposed at different positions in the radial direction of a disc.
