PURPOSE: A digital image photographing apparatus having a radio communication card, an image transmission system and method using the apparatus are provided to automatically transmit an image photographed by the photographing apparatus to a desired place on-line. CONSTITUTION: A digital image photographing apparatus includes a memory(210), a radio LAN card(220), and a programming module(230). The memory stores images photographed by the digital image photographing apparatus. The radio LAN card is set in the digital image photographing apparatus to capture information including IP address of the image photographing apparatus and gateway, completes preparation of radio communication with a destination server, and transmits the images stored in the memory to a destination. The programming module transmits the images stored in the memory to the radio LAN card.
