PURPOSE: A solenoid valve for an ABS(Anti-lock Brake System) is provided to improve productivity and secure new technology by forming a plunger and an armature as one member and forming the plunger as a permanent magnet and forming a flow groove to the outer peripheral surface of the plunger. CONSTITUTION: A solenoid valve for an ABS comprises a modulator block; an inflow port formed to the side of the modulator block; a receiving part formed inside the modulator block and communicated with the inflow port; an outflow port formed inside the modulator block and communicated with the receiving part; a housing(20) having an inflow hole; a plunger(22) forming a protruded part(23) at the end; a seat(30) formed to the protruded part and received in the housing; a compression spring(28) supported to the side of the seat and combined with the protruded part of the plunger; an orifice(35) combined to the housing between the seat and the inflow port; a coil(70) disposed to a side of the modulator block; and a magnetic core(60) disposed inside the coil. The plunger is a permanent magnet. A cover(50) is combined to the side of the housing receiving the plunger. A fluid flow groove(24) is formed to the outer peripheral surface of the plunger.
