PURPOSE: A white light emitting diode is provided to improve color stability and embody uniform white color by changing a wavelength of the light emitted from a light emitting diode chip while using a garnet-based fluorescent body with a red excitation light emitting characteristic and a yellow-green excitation light emitting characteristic. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting diode chip(2) is prepared. Epoxy resin encapsulates the light emitting diode chip. A fluorescent body(4) absorbs the light emitted from the light emitting diode to change the wavelength of the absorbed light. Epoxy resin with predetermined self-viscosity is applied to the surface of the light emitting diode chip having a light emitting wavelength of 430-530 nanometer. A garnet-based fluorescent body activated by Cr¬3+ ions, Tb¬3+ ions and Tm¬3+ ions is distributed to the liquid epoxy resin.
