Anti-coccidiosis mixtures containing thiazolium

Mixtures containing (a) a carrier and/or a diluent; (b) 0.005-0.25% w/w of a thiozolium salt (II):- R and R' = C1-3 alkyl X' and X = inorganic acid radical n = 0 or 1 3-(2-methyl-4-aminopyridinyl-5-methyl)-4,5-dimethyl thiazolium salt (c) 0.2-0.3% w/w of terephthalic acid or derivative. (III) is reacted with carbondisulphide and 3-halogenbutanol-2 in the presence of ammonia, to form the 3-(2-alkyl-4-aminopyrimidinyl 5-methyl)-4-hydroxy-4-methyl-5-alkylthiazoline-2-thione(formula (IV).
