PURPOSE: A 5.1 channel sound output apparatus is provided to make 5.1 channel sound effect by making solid impression to a pure 2 channel audio or VCR play audio. CONSTITUTION: A low pass filter(10) separates a low-pitched sound from a 2 channel audio signal. The first signal mixer(SUM1) mixes left and right channel signal separated through the above low pass filter, and outputs a low-pitched sound for a woofer speaker. A high pass filter(20) outputs a high-pitched sound for left and right rear speaker by separating a high-pitched sound region from the above 2 channel audio signal. A negative feedback circuit part(30,40) outputs a middle-pitched sound for left and right front speaker by separating a middle-pitched sound region, by removing a low band signal and a high band signal from the 2 channel audio signal. And the second and the third signal mixer(SUM2,SUM3) outputs one of a signal mixing the high band signal to be output to the rear speaker or a signal mixing the middle band signal to be output to the front speaker.
