PURPOSE: A structure for coupling an evaporator of an air conditioner is provided to prevent deterioration of a left end plate and a right end plate during welding of a return band, and to allow easy installation process. CONSTITUTION: A structure comprises an evaporator(50) cooling down air blown into a cabinet using vaporization heat of refrigerant; an orifice(60) supporting the evaporator coupled to a front side thereof; and a coupling unit coupling the evaporator to the orifice. The coupling unit comprises an extension part(59) extended from a right end plate(58) toward the orifice, and having an insertion groove(h) formed on one side thereof; and a fixed protrusion(62) protruded from the front side of the orifice to be inserted and fixed to the insertion hole. The extension part comprises a protrusive piece(59a) protrusively and perpendicularly formed on a rear side end of the right end plate; and a bent piece(59b) perpendicularly bent from an end of the protrusive piece toward the orifice, and having the insertion groove formed thereon. The fixed protrusion comprises a protrusive protrusion(62a) perpendicularly and protrusively formed on the front side of the orifice corresponding with the protrusive piece of the extension part toward the evaporator; and an insertion protrusion(62b) perpendicularly and protrusively formed on an outside of the protrusive protrusion. |
