PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing dust on work rolls of skin pass mill is provided to prevent damage of the surface of work rolls, remove danger of safety accident and control speed of dust removing operation according to supplying speed of strip by timely and promptly removing foreign materials adhered to work rolls and strip during rotation of work rolls. CONSTITUTION: In a skin pass mill, the apparatus for removing dust on work rolls of the skin pass mill comprises a moving part comprising frame(20) vertically installed at one side of the skin pass mill, rotation shaft(21) horizontally extended to the upper side of strip and rotationally installed at an upper part of the frame, driving means for rotating the rotation shaft, supporting member(22) installed at the tip of the rotation shaft and put on an upper part of the strip(100), and driving cylinder(24) installed at the supporting member in a strip proceeding direction; and a removal part comprising case(30) installed at the tip of piston rod of the driving cylinder and positioned on an upper part of the strip, a winding spool rotationally installed at the tip of the case in a width direction of the strip, unwinding spool rotationally mounted on the rear of the case, cleaning cloth(33) which is coiled on the unwinding spool in a roll shape, and the tip of which is coiled on the winding spool, and driving motor installed at one side of the case and connected to the winding spool to rotate the winding spool so that foreign materials on the surface of the strip or work rolls(12) are removed.
