PURPOSE: An amphiphilic crosslinked polymer nanoparticle for treating the waste water and the polluted soil is provided, to remove hydrophilic and hydrophobic pollutant from the waste water and the polluted soil with a high removing efficiency and a convenient recycling efficiency. CONSTITUTION: The amphiphilic crosslinked polymer nanoparticle comprises the compound having the structure represented by the formula 1, wherein A is a cationic group capable of forming a quaternary amine by the reaction of an anion such as a carboxyl group and a sulfonic group or an acid. Preferably the compound having the structure represented by the formula 1 is selected from the group consisting of methyl methacrylate, styrene, glycidyl methacrylate and butyl acrylate; acrylamide, acryloyl oxytrimethyl ammonium chloride, diaryl dimethyl ammonium chloride, a vinyl amine such as vinyl pyridine, acrylic acid and sodium styrene sulfonate; and divinyl benzene and triethylene glycol dimethacrylate.
