摘要 PURPOSE: A method for automatically selecting the drill fabrication process of a numerical control incorporated computer aided manufacturing system is provided to drastically reduce the program writing time on the spot so as to minimize the correction of the fabrication program generated in the CAM software by the user. CONSTITUTION: A method for automatically selecting the drill fabrication process of a numerical control incorporated computer aided manufacturing system includes: a first step(S10) of inputting a fabrication shape information such as a final diameter of hole(D_1), a before-fabricated diameter(D_2), a fabricating material and a material coefficient(K) and a transfer speed(f) of the drill; a second step(S20) of calculating the power required(P) by using the fabrication shape information; a third step(S30) of determining whether the power required(P) is larger than the maximum output(P_max) of the fabricating device or not; a fourth step(S31,S40) of calculating the diameter(d1) of the drill; a fifth step(S50) of returning to the second step(S20) by inserting the drill diameter(dn) selected from the fourth step(S31,S40) into the before-fabrication diameter(D_2); a sixth step(S60) of selecting the drill tool having a diameter(D_1); and a seventh step(S70) of automatically developing the drill process by using the final hole diameter(D_1) to be fabricated.
