DRUM WASHING MACHINE USED AS DRIER

PURPOSE: A drum type washing machine used as a drier is provided to prevent a baby or a pet from being choked in a drum by ventilating a condensing duct, and to improve drying efficiency by restricting inflow of outer air into the tub in drying and outflow of detergent bubbles in washing. CONSTITUTION: A drum type washing machine used as a drier is composed of a tub(56) installed in a cabinet(52) by a spring(54a) and a damper(54b) and composed of a drum(58) rotating; a drying duct(82) and a condensing duct(84) drying the laundry with drying air in the tub; and a ventilating unit(90) circulating air into the condensing duct. The ventilating unit has a ball housing formed in a water supply nozzle(86), a vent hole communicated with atmosphere and formed in the upper part of the ball housing, and a float ball embedded in the ball housing to close the vent hole with floating in supplying condensate.
