PURPOSE: A PVC(Permanent Virtual Connection) setting method for ATM paths is provided to define systematic, basic macro headers through the application of an ATM PVC method and to automatically execute setting for all processors by using the defined macro headers. CONSTITUTION: A user makes and edits an ATM address system table(S11). The user manufactures a macro function(cddAddr.h) based on the ATM address system table(S12). Then the user manufactures a Sar/Cubit block(cddPATH.h/libATM.c) for each processor(S13). After manufacturing each Sar/Cubit block, the user manufactures a switch tool(switch_gen.c, switch_gen.pl)(S14). After manufacturing the switching tool, the user creates a switch script file(S15).
