TREAD RUBBER COMPOSITION HAVING IMPROVED BRAKING PERFORMANCE IN WET ROADS

PURPOSE: Provided is a tread rubber composition having improved braking performance on wet roads than a conventional tread rubber composition. CONSTITUTION: The tread rubber composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a base rubber consisting of a styrene-butadiene rubber optionally with a butadiene rubber, and 80 parts by weight of a carbon black, silica, or a mixture thereof, as a reinforcing filler. The tread rubber composition is characterized by further comprising 7-50 parts by weight of barium sulfonate(BaSO4) based on 100 parts by weight of the base rubber.
