PURPOSE: A wind power generator is provided to improve efficiency of the generator by gathering slight winds and concentrating the wind on vanes of a turbine and safely protect the wind generator from a strong wind caused by typhoon and a storm. CONSTITUTION: A wind power generator comprises a base frame(10) fixed to the ground by vertically installing a reference shaft(11) to the center; a rotary pipe(20) rotating, with fitted into the reference shaft; turbines(30) supported to the sides of a support frame; a first guide plate(40) of a V-shape disposed to the opposite direction of the turbine, to guide the wind to blades of the turbines; first and second power transmission shafts receiving the rotational force of the turbine by engaging with a bevel gear disposed to the lower part of a rotating shaft of the turbine; a rotation friction reduction unit disposed to the lower part of the rotating shaft of the turbine, to reduce friction resistance in the rotation of the turbine; a generator generating electricity by receiving the rotational force of the first and second power transmission shafts; and a safety unit preventing the influence of the wind by rotating blades of the turbine when the turbine rotates excessively to prevent the excessive rotation of the turbine.
