PURPOSE: A facsimile data processing method and a multi-function processor for carrying out the method are provided to allow a user to freely store, delete or print facsimile data. CONSTITUTION: A facsimile data processing method includes a step(10) of receiving facsimile data, a step(12) of storing the receiving facsimile data, and a step(14) of transmitting the stored facsimile data to a personal computer. The personal computer processes the facsimile data. The facsimile data processing method further includes a step of informing a user of information about the stored facsimile data. The facsimile data processing method also has a step of deleting the facsimile data after the step of transmitting the facsimile data to the personal computer. A multi-function processor for carrying out the facsimile data processing method includes a data receiver for receiving the facsimile data and outputting the received facsimile data, and a storage unit for storing the facsimile data accepted from the data receiver.
