PURPOSE: Fuel tank mounting structure of a rear-wheel drive vehicle is provided to improve amenity of the room of the vehicle and increase fuel capacity by levelly forming a rear flow panel while avoiding interference with a fuel tank by an exhaust pipe and a rear propeller shaft. CONSTITUTION: Fuel tank mounting structure of a rear-wheel drive vehicle comprises a pair of first fuel tanks(3') separately disposed on the sides, not to interfere the areas of dual exhaust pipes(10) of an exhaust system and a rear propeller shaft(11) connected to an axle(T) from a transmission, and second fuel tanks(3'') each connected to the first fuel tanks through connecting members(3c), to supply fuel to the first fuel tanks. The exhaust system is disposed to the lower central portion of a rear flow panel(9) forming the rear part of the vehicle. The second fuel tanks are formed along the breath of the vehicle at a part forming a trunk space.
