<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cogeneration system to be efficiently operated by switching an operational system according to the heat storage of a heat storage appliance. <P>SOLUTION: This cogeneration system comprises a cogeneration device 10 to generate electricity and heat by supplying a commercial power source 1 and a fuel gas 2 and a heat storage system 20, and outputs the generated electricity outside in addition to the commercial power source, and outputs the heat to the outside via the heat storage system 20. This system has a setting device 33 to switch the operation system of the cogeneration device to the continuous operation, the DSS (intermittent) operation or the automatic switching operation, an operating unit 35 to operate the heat storage in the heat storage device, and a display device 34 to display the heat storage.
