<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure an effective power generating performance by easily and surely cooling power generating cells in a compact structure. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell stack 10 comprises power generating cells 12, electrodes 14 and 16 for collection electrically and integrally connected to a specified number of the power generating cells 12, and cooling cells 18 cooling the power generating cells 12 with cooling medium and installed between the electrodes 14 and 16 for collection.
