<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the optical cable from being bent with a radius not larger than an allowable bending radius even when a composite electrical/optical cable is laid while traversing a right angle corner part by enhancing the rigidity at the optical cable part of the composite electrical/optical cable. <P>SOLUTION: Insulated wires 3 and the optical cable 4 are covered with a resin sheath 16 by integral molding. The resin sheathed insulated wire part 17 and the resin sheathed optical cable part 18 are continuous through a thin linking part 19 and the optical cable part 18 (the resin sheathed optical cable part 18) can be separated from the resin sheathed insulated wire part 17 by tearing off the linking part 19. Since the protrusions 21 of the separated optical cable part 18 serve as reinforcing ribs to enhance rigidity, the optical cable can be prevented from being bent with a small radius even when it is laid while traversing a right angle corner part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
