<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To broadcast the status of a printer by using the isochronous channel of an IEEE1394. <P>SOLUTION: A printer broadcasts its own status at a fixed interval so that it is possible for a print data transmission side to transfer data without confirming the printer conditions.
