<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electrode for a fuel cell for preventing generation of defectively fitted part on a boundary of layers, preventing performance degradation of an ion-exchange membrane, and reducing the thickness of the ion-exchange membrane. <P>SOLUTION: In this method for manufacturing an electrode for a fuel cell, a positive electrode layer 18 is formed on a positive electrode side diffusion layer 14 by applying a solution for the positive electrode layer 18, a mixed layer 19 is formed on the positive electrode layer 18 by applying a mixed solution of carbon with fluorine resin, an ion-exchange membrane 20 is formed on the mixed layer 19 by applying a solution for the ion-exchange membrane 20, and a negative electrode layer 17 is formed by applying a solution for the negative electrode layer 17 while the ion-exchange membrane 20 is non-dried. Thereafter, the positive and negative electrode layers 18 and 17, the mixed layer 19 and the ion-exchange membrane 20 are collectively dried for solidification. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
