PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery assembly unit of which, the size is reduced by optimizing the layout of a base plate on which, a balancer circuit is mounted. SOLUTION: The battery assembly 2 and the base plate 5 on which, the balancer circuit is mounted, are housed in a box 1. The battery assembly is formed by stacking a plurality of battery cells 20. Each battery cell 20 has an electrode tub 21 protruding outward, and the battery cells 20 are serially connected to each other by connecting the electrode tubs 21. The base plate 5 put on the battery assembly unit 2 is connected to the electrode tubs 21 of respective battery cells 20. The balancer circuit controls the cell voltage of respective battery cells 20 so as to become uniform. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
