PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery that is easy to connect to the outside equipment or to install on an automobile or the like. SOLUTION: The battery comprises a positive electrode and a negative electrode terminals 9 provided on the outside of a battery container, a generating element 1 housed in the battery container having a positive electrode and a negative electrode 1a, 1b, and a positive electrode and a negative electrode connecting conductors 3. The positive electrode connecting conductor 3 is connected to the positive electrode terminal on the outside of the battery container and connected to the positive electrode in the battery container, and the above negative electrode connecting conductor is connected to the negative electrode terminal on the outside of the battery container and connected to the negative electrode in the battery container.
