PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily change a partitioning position of a select button and to change or additionally arrange a tarry lamp with a change in an environment of using a console of a video switching apparatus. SOLUTION: In order to provide divided areas partitioning a select button 5 arranged on the console for performing an operation such as blind touch into blocks (button areas) with buttons of an arbitrary number, the inhibition of input to the inhibition designated area of the select button 5 is designated by software processing and a dedicated cap 10 is used in place of a push-button cap 5c of each select button 5 in the inhibition designated area. A feeling of operational touch is made different from the other select button by using the dedicated cap 10 and the select button 5 is divided into blocks. Light emitted from an LED 7 that the select button 5 has is set to be functioned as the tarry lamp through software processing by a semi-transmissive part 10a provided on the dedicated cap 10, and the tarry lamp is added or changed at an arbitrary position defined as a divided area by the dedicated cap 10.
