PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information read/write device more capable of preventing the collision of a head with a medium when vibration occurs. SOLUTION: This device is provided with detecting means 23, 25 for detecting vibration when the vibration occurs in the floating state of a head 14 on a medium 13, and an increasing means 34 for increasing the floating amount of the head from the medium based on the vibration detected by the detecting means.
