PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an operability in an emergency ejection of a recording medium in a recording medium apparatus. SOLUTION: This recording medium apparatus is equipped with an ejection member 111 movably supported in the direction Y<SB>1</SB>on a side X<SB>1</SB>of a base member 30, and an ejecting turning lever 115 turnably supported on an upper surface of the base member 30, with one end connected to the ejection member 111 and the other end connected to a recording medium holder 50. An end part of the ejection member 111 in the direction Y<SB>2</SB>is positioned at a right rear side of a front bezel 40 and faces an emergency ejection hole 43. When an operator inserts an emergency ejection rod member 140 into the hole 43 and presses it in the direction Y<SB>1</SB>, the ejection member 111 is pressed by the rod member 140 and moved in the direction Y<SB>1</SB>, the ejecting turning lever 115 is turned counterclockwise, and the recording medium holder 50 is moved in the direction Y<SB>2</SB>, to eject a recording medium 10.
