<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card issuing apparatus capable of issuing only a card designated by a user among a plurality of cards by a single card issue device and capable of achieving miniaturization and reduction of a space. <P>SOLUTION: The card issuing apparatus is provided with a card processing mechanism 1 for writing in a magnet stripe and an IC chip of a card, and hoppers 2 and 3 for housing the card in a stacked condition. The hoppers 2 and 3 are vertically driven, and a plurality of the hoppers are arranged in series with respect to the card processing mechanism 1. When the card is not the designated card, the card is delivered to a reject box 37. The hoppers 2 and 3 for housing the card can be removed from the card issuing apparatus for each of the cards. A card conveyance passage 4 is in a shape of a belt and a delivery claw 5 is provided on a surface of the card conveyance passage 4. By rotating the card conveyance passage 4, only the lowest of the cards 6 and 7 housed in the hopper in the stacked condition can be pushed out by the delivery claw 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
