PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery that prevents an excessive force from being inflicted on the connection fixing part between a rivet terminal and can maintain airtightness inside the battery case made of a battery box and a lid plate, by preventing rotation and floating of a terminal plate. SOLUTION: The battery comprises a rivet terminal 7 that protrudes to the outside of the lid plate 4, an upper insulating sealing plate 6 that is arranged on the outer face of this lid plate 4 and has penetrated the rivet terminal 7 in a through hole, a terminal plate 8 that is arranged on the upper insulating sealing plate 6 and has inserted the top end cylindrical part 7c of the rivet terminal 7 into an insertion hole and connected by fixing. A plurality of stud bolts 11 are provided on the lid plate 4 and a depressing material 10 is arranged so as to be positioned on the upper insulating sealing plate 6 through these stud bolts 11.
